Bus Tire Service Technician

We're looking for hands-on, mechanically minded individuals to become Bus Tire Service Technicians — essential players in keeping our city's transit fleet running safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll get hands-on with some of the biggest tires in the business.
Your work will directly support public safety and keep the transit buses ready.
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair large transit bus tires.
- Maintain tire equipment and tools — we count on you to keep things running smoothly.
- Load and unload tires and related materials.
- Keeping the work area clean and hazard-free — safety is always first.
- Participate in team meetings and stay up to date on procedures.
- Complete documentation and service logs accurately and on time.
- Use personal protective equipment and follow all safety protocols.
- Tackle other tasks as needed — there's always something to learn.
We're looking for someone who's not afraid to get their hands dirty and thrives in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent bending, lifting, and moving tires over 50 pounds (and pushing with over 100 lbs. of force).
- Exposure to heat in summer, cold in winter, and common cleaning or lubrication chemicals.
- Comfortable working with tools and machines in a shop environment.
Full TIA Certification Pathway Provided:
Gain recognized credentials paid for by us. TIA (Tire Industry Association) certification is a formal credentialing program aimed at raising technical standards among tire service professionals.
- Earn TIA Level 2 Certification within 2 weeks of hire.
- Complete TIA Level 3 Certification within 2 years.
