Role OverviewThe Multi‑Craft Maintenance Technician supports manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The position collaborates with maintenance and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and production equipment systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and light fabrication or welding projects.
- Utilize maintenance management systems to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting spare parts inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Technical school training, trade certification, or related vocational education.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and maintenance‑related tools and equipment.
- Electrical certification or equivalent electrical maintenance experience.
