We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious
Facilities Maintenance Technician / Shuttle Driver
to join our team. This position combines general building maintenance with transporting employees between company locations using a passenger shuttle van. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and providing excellent service, we'd like to hear from you.
- Perform routine building maintenance and preventative maintenance.
- Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and general handyman repairs.
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs within established guidelines.
- Repair doors, locks, fixtures, ceiling tiles, flooring, and trim.
- Assist with HVAC preventative maintenance, including filter changes and inspections.
- Maintain the grounds, parking areas, and exterior appearance of the property.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Assist with facility improvement projects, furniture moves, and other operational needs.
- Safely transport employees between company locations using a company passenger shuttle van.
- Follow established routes and schedules while ensuring passenger safety.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Keep the shuttle clean, fueled, and ready for operation.
- Maintain mileage and inspection records.
- Provide professional, courteous service to employees and visitors.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
- Three or more years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, handyman, or property maintenance experience.
- Experience driving a passenger shuttle, van, or commercial vehicle.
- Experience with:
- Painting and drywall repair
- Basic carpentry
- Basic plumbing
- Basic electrical work (lighting, switches, outlets)
- Door and hardware repairs
- Furniture and fixture installation
- Preventative maintenance
- Grounds maintenance and pressure washing
- Reliable and punctual
- Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
- Mechanically inclined and resourceful
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional and courteous with employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work
- Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed
- Full-Time
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance
