Haul Truck Operators
- Ash Basin Closure Project - $24/hr + Per Diem
- Houston, TX
Haul Truck Operators are needed for ash basin closure projects at active power plant sites in Houston, Texas, with Aerotek. This role involves operating articulated dump trucks and off‑road haul trucks to support large‑scale earthmoving and environmental remediation. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in heavy production environments and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

- Experience in production‑driven environments (e.g., environmental remediation, heavy civil construction, mining, quarry, landfill, dredging, or ash pond closure)
- Competence in construction site safety practices
- Skill in performing equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Ability to operate safely on uneven terrain and haul roads
- Effective radio communication skills
- Environmental remediation experience, especially on ash pond closures or large‑scale earthmoving projects
- Experience in heavy civil construction, mining, quarry, landfill, or dredging projects
- Familiarity with high‑production excavation and material handling at industrial or power plant sites
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to operational and safety procedures
