Mechanical Installer

Seeking experienced Mechanical & Electrical Installers capable of performing precision mechanical assembly and installation of BESS cabinet/skid component in the Houston, TX area!

Working Monday-Friday, 10-12 hour shifts. Work is scheduled for 6-8 weeks. Pay for Mechanical and Electrical Installers is up to $28 an hour based on experience.

• Install electrical components within BESS cabinets/skids.
• Install and route cables, wiring andwire harnesses.
• Install terminals, connectors, grounding/bonding components and related hardware as directed.
• Perform cable management, routing, securing and labeling.
• Assist with electrical terminations and connections within the worker’sassigned scope and qualification.
• Use hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, crimpers, torque tools and other electrical assembly tools.
• Read and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics andwork instructions.
• Verify component locations and wiring against drawings.
• Perform visual andbasic quality checks.
• Maintain proper cable routing and separation.
• Identify damaged or incorrect components andreport them to supervision.
• Maintain a cleanand organized workarea.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures, PPErequirements and project instructions.
• Assist millwrights and electrical installers.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components.
• Install hardware, brackets, supports and panels.
• Assist with cable routing and cable management.
• Install labels and identification tags.
• Stage and move materials.
• Use hand andpower tools safely.
• Follow drawings and written work instructions.
• Perform basic quality inspections.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization.
• Assist experienced technicians with BESS cabinet/skid assembly.
• Follow all project safety requirements.

• Must be ableto work Monday–Friday, 10–12 hour shifts.
• Must be available for eitherday or night shift.
• Must be ableto safely usebasic hand andpower tools appropriate to the position.
• Must successfully passrequiredbackground screening.
• Must successfully passrequireddrug screening.
• Must be willingto comply withall required PPEand site safety requirements.
• Must be ableto work extended shifts while maintaining attention to detailand safe work practices.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Previous industrial, construction, manufacturing, mechanicalor electrical experience preferred.
