We are seeking a skilled, self-independent Small Appliance & Electronics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and test small electronics and appliances. You will be responsible for identifying component-level failures and documenting your findings in technical reports. Experience with personal care electronics like hair tools, flat irons, and hair dryers is a strong plus.

Duties & Responsibilities

Required:

• Diagnostic & Testing: Perform continuity checks using a multimeter and safely utilize electronic testing devices to troubleshoot equipment.
• Component-Level Repair: Identify blown electronic parts, failed thermal fuses on electronic boards
  , and other component defects.
• Precision Work: Use soldering tools
  , power tools, and small handheld electronics safely and efficiently.
• Documentation: Use a PC to write and deliver clear, detailed Word and PDF technical reports tracking diagnoses and repairs.
• Compliance & Safety: Strictly follow all safety instructions, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and company protocols
  , including adherence to liability policies regarding handheld electronics.

Must-Have

Qualifications:

• Proven experience using a multimeter, soldering equipment, and power tools.
• Strong technical ability to diagnose circuit board components and thermal fuses.
• High level of independence with the ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Strict commitment to workplace safety and standard operating procedures.
