Alatas Americas is seeking an experienced Service Electrician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems on overhead, marine, offshore, and industrial cranes.
Must be local to the Houston area and travel when required to job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults
- Service motors, control panels, contractors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, and limit systems
- Read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and system upgrades
- Complete accurate service reports and communicate findings to customers
- Travel to customer sites and work safely at heights or in industrial environments
- Participate in emergency and after-hours service when required
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Strong understanding of three-phase power and control circuits
- Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
- Crane, hoist, marine, offshore, or heavy-equipment experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
- Strong safety awareness, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Relevant electrical license, technical training, or certifications are a plus
