We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with production and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and machinery.
- Support the installation, upgrade, maintenance, and inspection of control systems and related equipment.
- Perform emergency troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Document machine faults, repairs, and maintenance activities to support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Assist in developing and maintaining equipment maintenance schedules.
- Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to reduce equipment downtime and improve overall reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance, safety, and efficiency.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance, service technician, or industrial electrical/electronic repair environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Experience working with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, control systems, electronics, or CNC controls.
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely disassemble, diagnose, repair, and reassemble equipment.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices and diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to support decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
