This position is designed for an experienced concrete cutting professional who is comfortable operating saws, drills, and related equipment and wants the opportunity to continue developing their skills.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of concrete cutting experience, with slab sawing experience preferred. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, mechanically capable, and takes pride in doing quality work.

• Operate concrete cutting equipment including slab saws, wall saws, wire saws, and core drills
• Perform equipment checks before use to ensure functionality and safety
• Keep equipment clean and ensure it is safely and securely stored when not in use
• Attend project kickoffs, weekly check-ins, safety meetings, and other team meetings
• Work safely and effectively alongside other Operators and Helpers to complete concrete cutting and removal projects
• Follow job-specific instructions and maintain Ashton’s standards for safety, quality, and professionalism

• Strong work ethic and dependability

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Comfortable asking questions and raising concerns when needed

• Mechanical aptitude and confidence working with concrete cutting equipment

• Experience operating concrete cutting equipment
• Thorough knowledge of concrete cutting equipment
• Ability to complete daily activities according to the work schedule
• Consistent and reliable attendance
• Minimum age of 18
• Proof of identity and employment authorization
• Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record and reliable transportation
