Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. is seeking a Yard Assistant to support the lifting and movement of heavy equipment in our Houston yard. You will inspect rigging gear, plan lifts with load considerations, and attach loads using slings, chains, shackles, and hooks.
You will also guide loads with hand signals to crane operators to ensure safe positioning. You will act as a safety observer during lifts, assist in crane assembly/disassembly, and help move crane parts with forklifts and trailers in a busy
