This role is critical in managing and operating heavy lifting equipment necessary for the maintenance and setup of maritime facilities, crucial to our investigative and evidence-gathering processes related to maritime law cases.
Responsibilities
- Operate crawler crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads.
- Inspect machinery to ensure safety and functionality before and during operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards to prevent accidents and damage.
- Collaborate with onsite project teams to execute precise maneuvers in line with legal investigation needs.
- Document operations logs and comply with maritime safety and environmental policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the efficiency of the operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the crane.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating crawler cranes and other related heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of maritime operational safety and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret load charts.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
