General Laborer, Rental Maintenance

GFL Environmental is seeking a General Laborer, Rental Maintenance to support safe, efficient upkeep of waste, recycling, and rental equipment. In this essential on-site role, you will clean, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on containers and rental units, assist with loading/unloading, and keep yards and work areas organized. You'll follow strict safety and environmental procedures, complete simple documentation, and work closely with drivers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on rental containers and equipment
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging containers and materials
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe yard and work areas
• Follow company safety, environmental, and PPE procedures at all times
• Complete basic paperwork and maintenance logs accurately
• Support drivers and technicians with equipment setup and removal
• Report equipment damage, hazards, and service needs promptly
• Operate basic hand tools and light equipment as trained
