Job Overview

Insituform Technologies LLC, part of Azuria Water Solutions, is a global pipeline protection company with over 45 years of experience. We are hiring Construction Technicians / Laborers with valid CDL licenses in Houston, TX.

The role involves installing cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehabilitation and repair projects. The position requires working with minimal oversight while closely following instructions.

Starting base pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.50 per hour based on experience and CDL class. Candidates with significant industry experience may negotiate a higher rate. We provide 100% paid on‑job training.

Sign‑on bonus: $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license. A reduced amount is available for those without a current CDL license who meet program criteria.

• Repair various types of sewer lines using specific products and processes
• Ensure pull‑in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D‑Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
• Install the prepared tube using winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate equipment
• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
• Cure resin products using an inflation tube, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.
• Learn and train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
• Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor‑trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
  
  Perform set‑up and clean‑up tasks at job site or shop

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a Construction Laborer and/or Installation Technician highly preferred
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL and meet Insituform’s motor vehicle standards (Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required)
• Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery‑powered, or electric tools
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)
