Role Description Caulkers at Freedom Waterproofing Tx perform hands-on waterproofing and sealing work on commercial buildings in the Greater Houston area. This full-time, on-site role involves applying caulking and sealants around windows, doors, joints, masonry, siding, and other exterior surfaces to prevent water intrusion. Day-to-day tasks include preparing work areas, cleaning and priming surfaces, selecting appropriate materials, and applying coatings and waterproofing systems according to project specifications.

The role also requires working at height with proper safety equipment, following company safety procedures, and maintaining tools and equipment in good condition. Caulkers collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards, while maintaining a clean and organized job site.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in waterproofing and caulking applications, including proper use of sealants and joint treatments.
• Experience with masonry and siding work, including surface preparation and repair related to waterproofing projects.
• Ability and willingness to work at height safely, using ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection equipment.
• Knowledge of coatings and protective finishes used for exterior building envelopes and water-resistance.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and project specifications.
• Commitment to safety practices and compliance with OSHA and company guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment, and work in outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Greater Houston area and willingness to work full-time schedules.
• Previous experience in construction, waterproofing, or building maintenance is preferred but not required.
