Velocity Air A/C & Heating is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Sales & Service HVAC Technician to join our Houston-area team. This role is ideal for an HVAC professional who not only excels in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems, but also has a passion for customer relationships, business development, and leadership.

The successful candidate will serve as a key member of our growing organization by delivering exceptional service, identifying sales opportunities, mentoring team members, and helping drive company growth throughout the Houston market.

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and service calls on residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues accurately and efficiently.
• Install, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings to customers.

• Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted HVAC advisor.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades, replacement equipment, maintenance agreements, and additional services.
• Educate customers on energy-efficient solutions and HVAC system improvements.
• Generate leads and contribute to company revenue growth through exceptional customer service and consultative selling.
• Represent the company professionally and help strengthen the Velocity Air brand throughout the Houston community.

• Support the growth and development of the service department.
• Mentor and assist less experienced technicians in the field.
• Help establish best practices and maintain high service standards.
• Collaborate with leadership on strategies to expand the business and improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to recruiting, training, and building a high-performing service team as the company grows.

• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC service experience.
• Strong residential and commercial HVAC troubleshooting skills.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently while leading by example.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Sales-focused mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Must possess personal HVAC tools.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screening requirements.

• Annual base salary up to $70,000
