Tires keep the world moving. As tires turn, goods are delivered, people are transported, and plans are executed. But what happens when they are worn out and stop turning? Worldwide, more than 7 million tires are scrapped every day. In many parts of the world, they become a waste problem, as they are left to degrade in landfill sites – or are incinerated, emitting large amounts of CO2.

At Genan, we have turned the tire waste problem into a green opportunity. We recycle end-of-life tires (ELT) for reuse in a variety of ways. Every day, we can recycle up to 150,000 tires and reduce CO2 emission to the atmosphere by 280,000 MT a year – that’s the equivalent of what 100,000 diesel cars emit in one year. In short, the planet has a problem, and we have a solution.

• Genan will provide all uniforms and the cleaning of those uniforms

• Genan provides Medical, Dental and Vision coverage paid at 100% by the company for the employee

• You will be eligible to participate in the Genan 401k plan, in which the company contributes up to 3%.
• Life insurance is provided at no cost to you at 1x your annual salary with a $50,000 max
• Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability will be provided and paid 100% by Genan
• You begin earning PTO (Paid Time Off) the 1stof the month following 90 days of employment.
  
  It is accrued on a bi-weekly basis with a total accrual of 15 days for the first year.

The Maintenance Mechanic supports the plant in the production of product, by performing maintenance, repair, installation, dismantle and/or removal of machinery.

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
• Effectively respond to equipment failures to minimize downtime
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance for all equipment as needed
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting of production machines
• Light electrical troubleshooting and repair to include motors, sensors, and light machine wiring
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  8. Comply with OSHA safety and health rules

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand written operating instructions and work order requirements.

• High school or Equivalent
• Technical training
• 3+ years of experience as Maintenance Mechanic
• Welding experience a plus
• Use of hand and power tools and measuring instruments
• Previous experience in similar field a plus
