Laborer / helper
Load in, clean up, stocking, scrap out. Good role for someone looking to learn the trade.
Pay $17–$22 / hr
Schedule Mon–Fri
- 6:30 am start
Location Greater Houston area
What you ll do
- Load and stock board to hanging stations
- Keep the jobsite clean — scrap out, sweep, empty buckets
- Stage mud, tape, sanding screens and other supplies
- Help with safety set-up — barriers, signage, dust control
Requirements
- Reliable and on time
- Physically able to move board and buckets all day
- Able to follow directions on a job site
Nice to have
- Interest in learning to hang or tape
- Previous construction or warehouse experience
Your first week
On a crew with a senior hanger. We show you the right way to stock a wall, move board, and stay clear of the taping line so you are useful from day one.
Pay and schedule
Hourly. Weekly pay, direct deposit.
