Diesel Technician

We're seeking a Diesel Technician for a Houston, TX location to join a well-established fleet maintenance operation. You'll work on late-model diesel equipment in a clean, organized shop environment, performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work. This role is part of a team with strong tenure and a commitment to service excellence.

Requirements:

Must-haves: 45 years diesel mechanic experience Valid driver's license with clean MVR Own hand tools

Experience with Freightliner, International, or Volvo diesel engines Ability to perform PM work, basic diagnostics, and DOT inspections Knowledge of brakes, suspension, and after-treatment systems

Nice-to-haves: OEM certifications (Cummins Insight, Detroit Diagnostic Link, Volvo Tech Tool) Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Experience with OEM-level software diagnostics Familiarity with heavy-duty fleet maintenance

Compensation & Benefits:

12:30 PM  9:00 PM, Monday Friday Minimal overtime (05 hours/week average) OT after 40 hours/week No on-call requirements Work performed in-shop#MHS
