Field Service Technicians at NOV play a crucial role in supporting customers and sales teams by providing technical expertise and hands‑on service for industrial rotating equipment. This position involves frequent travel, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, mixers, and related equipment. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and thrive in dynamic, hands‑on environments. - Experience with installation, alignment, and commissioning of industrial equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) and work in various field conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in harsh environments (rain, snow, heat, heights)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to pass background, drug test, and health screenings
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Knowledge of VFD and/or PLCs in industrial settings
- Knowledge of rigging, forklift operation, and confined space entry
- Welding, rigging certification
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and advanced Excel abilities
- OSHA 30, NCCCO Rigger I certification
