HVAC Apprentice

Description Hunton Services is seeking a dedicated and driven HVAC Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start a hands-on career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. In this entry-level role, you will work alongside experienced technicians to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems while learning the fundamentals of the trade.

What You’ll DoAssist with the installation, service, and repair of HVAC systems and components

Support ductwork measuring, cutting, and assembly of HVAC components

Interpreting and following blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

Learn to identify and troubleshoot basic HVAC system issues

Transport tools and materials and maintain clean, organized job sites

Maintain tools and equipment in safe working conditions

Follow all company safety protocols and wear protective gear as required

Participate in on-the-job and classroom training to build your HVAC knowledge and skills

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED preferred

Enrolled in or willing to enroll in an HVAC training program (a plus)
Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in the HVAC trade

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation

Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs., working in tight spaces, and at heights

Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and safe work practices

Comfort with basic math and measuring
