Amteck is currently looking to hire Electricians for a long‑term opportunity in Houston, TX. These positions require candidates to be local to the Houston area (within 30–50 miles).
We offer long‑term opportunities as well as steady work, benefits, and a 401(k). Training is provided in low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation, allowing electricians to diversify their skill set.
What We Are Looking For- 5+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
- Ability to install conduit, wire, and cable systems as required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment, or systems
- Controls experience is a plus
- Ability to effectively lead a team of 1–3 apprentices and/or helpers
- OSHA‑10 preferred but not required
