• EPA 608 Universal Certification
• 5 or more years of commercial HVAC experience with significant exposure to heavy chiller systems
• Demonstrated experience with BAS/DDC controls platforms
• Strong electrical troubleshooting capability across both low and high voltage systems
• Comfortable working independently with limited oversight
• Valid Texas driver's license in good standing
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces

• In this role, you'll handle complex diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and system optimization across large commercial and industrial facilities
• Diagnose and repair large tonnage chillers — air-cooled and water-cooled — including centrifugal, screw, and scroll configurations
• Troubleshoot and program DDC/BAS building controls systems at an advanced level
• Commission and start up chiller and controls systems, optimizing for peak efficiency
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, and supporting equipment
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of all service work, repairs, and recommendations
• Communicate clearly with customers about system conditions, findings, and next steps
• Adhere to all safety requirements, EPA standards, and internal company policies
• Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and junior technicians when applicable
