Job Overview

First Call Security Innovations is looking for a reliable, hands-on Install Technician to join our growing field team.

You’ll work on commercial and institutional projects installing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic security and technology systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new technology, and being part of a team.

• Install and service security and technology systems
  , including:

  • CCTV / IP camera systems

  • Access control

  • Intrusion detection

  • Structured cabling

  • Fiber optics

• Pull, route, terminate, label, and test cable.

• Install cameras, readers, locks, security devices, and related equipment.

• Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and closeout.

• Read and follow drawings, plans, and project specifications.

• Work alongside Lead Technicians and Project Managers to complete projects safely and on schedule.

• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment organized and job sites professional.

• Communicate job progress, issues, and project needs to your supervisor.

Required:

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work.

• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.

• Able to follow directions and work as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.

• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

• Able to work on ladders, above ceilings, and in active commercial construction environments.

• Ability to travel to assigned job sites as needed.

Experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.

Preferred experience includes:

• Security system installation

• CCTV / IP cameras

• Access control

• Intrusion systems

• Structured cabling or fiber

• Commercial construction
