The Control Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Houston area. This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining control systems for HVAC equipment, including instrumentation and electrical components. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting control issues, performing preventive maintenance, calibrating sensors and control devices, and verifying proper operation of HVAC systems. The Control Technician will document work performed, follow safety standards and company procedures, and collaborate with other technicians and project teams to ensure efficient and reliable system performance.

This position may require occasional overtime or work outside regular hours to support customer needs and critical service calls.

• Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose control and HVAC system issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess experience with preventive maintenance practices for HVAC controls and related equipment.
• Candidates should possess hands-on knowledge of instrumentation and its application in monitoring and controlling HVAC systems.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of electricity and safe work practices around electrical components in control systems.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in calibration of sensors, controllers, and other control devices to ensure accurate system performance.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training in HVAC, controls, or electrical disciplines is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites within the Greater Houston area as needed.
