Schedule & Work Model
  • Monday-Friday (varied hours)
  • Tuesday, Wednesday-Friday 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
  • Monday and Thursday 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
  • 1 Saturday per month 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Work Model: 100% Onsite
  • Local Travel: 25%
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Compensation: $21.63

    Semi-monthly

Vacation and sick leave eligibility, accruals, usage, rollover limits, holiday eligibility, and all benefit programs are administered in accordance with HAWC policies and applicable plan documents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one‑on‑one coaching to help clients understand financial needs, set goals, and pursue economic empowerment (e.g., increasing income, managing debt, improving career opportunities, building savings, acquiring assets).
  • Assess client needs, set goals/prioritizing, and connect clients to resources.
  • Connect clients internally to support services (trauma support, legal, housing, etc.).
  • Teach financial and career coaching and facilitate group trainings using the All‑State Foundation Moving Ahead Curriculum.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with community organizations to support clients’ financial and job‑readiness goals.
  • Track program outcomes and aid in reporting.
  • Maintain workplace safety, comply with OSHA, and report suspected abuse to DFPS.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or Criminal Justice.
  • Minimum one year of experience in case management, career counseling, job development, or a similar social services setting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish; able to read, speak, and write both fluently.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean record; able to travel off‑site using a 15‑passenger agency van.
