Description

As the Bilingual Case Manager
- Economic Empowerment Services is responsible for providing comprehensive support with a focus on financial and career services. Will assist clients in overcoming immediate economic barriers and securing long-term financial independence and safety by utilizing one on one financial empowerment services and a broad range of community services.

  • Tue, Wed, & Friday: 9:00 a.m.

    -6:00 p.m.
  • Monday & Thursday: 11:00 a.m.

    -8:00 p.m.
  • One Saturday per month: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (will flex a day)
  • Work Model: 100% Onsite

Local Travel: 25%

  • Pay

    Schedule:

    Semi-monthly

Qualifications

The Requirements We are Seeking:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice or related field

OR

  • In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent and four additional years of directly related experience
  • A minimum of one year's experience in Case Management, Career Counseling, Workforce Development or similar in social services settings.
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish, able to read, speak, and write both languages fluently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Texas driver's license with a good driving record; ability to travel to off-site locations utilizing 15 passenger Agency van, if applicable

What you Deliver in this role:

  • You will provide one-on-one coaching to help clients understand their current financial needs and develop goals toward economic empowerment (increasing income, managing debt, improving career opportunities, building savings, and acquiring assets), including but not limited to:
    • Assessing needs
    • Setting goals/prioritizing
    • Connecting clients to community resources and assisting them in accessing services
    • Connecting clients to internal resources (trauma support, legal services, housing, etc.)
    • Building financial knowledge and life skills
    • Supporting long-term stability through savings plans, housing, and other sustainable resources
  • You will learn and facilitate the Allstate Foundation Moving Ahead curriculum through financial capability and career empowerment education.
  • You will provide group workshops and individual case management support to clients in person or remotely at OSPH or any assigned HAWC work location or service hub.
