Job Description

Perituza, an IT consulting company based in Houston, Texas(USA), is a team of innovators and problem-solvers dedicated to helping its clients operate smarter, make data-driven decisions, and increase profitability. We combine deep technology expertise and creativity to build secure, scalable technology solutions, including AI, custom software, and business intelligence.

We are looking for a full-stack software developer specializing in web-based .NET application development.

This position is temporarily 100% remote; however, following the completion of our One Galle Face office construction, this position will be onsite two (2) days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex software projects with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Build solutions using an agile workflow and participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot) to generate efficient, high-quality code and accelerated development workflows
  • Review code written by peers, provide constructive technical feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Incorporate quality software engineering practices across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including testing, documentation, and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and user-centric solutions
  • Attend project meetings and daily standups with US-based customers; proactively raise issues and report progress
  • Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with relevant standards and policies
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, development trends, prompting techniques, and industry best practices; apply innovative ideas to improve project outcomes
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Leadership
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in web-based application development
  • 2+ years of experience in .NET Core or ASP.NET MVC
  • 2+ years of experience with responsive web UI development
  • 1+ year of experience with React or Angular preferred
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g.: Azure, AWS)
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot or similar
  • Experience with agile development
  • Ability to attend project meetings after-hours with US-based clients as required
  • Ability to support production support out of normal office hours as required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with native English-speaking customers

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience using task management tools such as JIRA or Azure Dev Ops
  • Experience in unit test development with tools such as XUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Jasmine
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
  • Understanding of secure coding principles and performance optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI model integration in development workflows
