Lead Engineer (Digital Experience)
We’re expanding our team in Houston and have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Full Stack Engineer
. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and drive the development of high‑quality, scalable, and secure digital solutions. You’ll lead a small team of engineers and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other technical experts to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.
- Lead the development of secure, scalable digital solutions on AWS, ensuring alignment with platform standards.
- Provide hands‑on technical guidance and uphold best practices across cross‑functional teams.
- Partner with the Product Lead to design solutions for business use cases using established patterns.
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Manage backlog, Agile ceremonies, and sprint planning for timely delivery.
- Become a Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentoring team members and promoting consistent platform use.
- AWS Expertise:
Deep experience with Lambda, SQS, Event Bridge, API Gateway, Dynamo
DB, Secrets Manager, and AWS CDK. - Workflow Orchestration:
Experience with Orkes/Conductor, Step Functions, or similar orchestration concepts. - Backend Development:
Strong skills in Type Script (Node.js) and Python. - Frontend Frameworks:
Familiarity with React or Angular. - Database Systems:
Experience with both SQL and No
SQL databases. - CI/CD Pipelines:
Hands‑on experience with Git Hub Actions and AWS Code Pipeline. - Integration & Security:
Strong understanding of OAuth2, authentication flows, and API security. - Data Platforms:
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms is desirable. - Proven ability to lead teams, deliver in Agile environments, and produce technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, event‑driven systems, and version control (Git).
- Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms and integration approaches.
- Exposure to AI/ML workflows.
- Ability to contribute to platform strategy and solution design.
