Web Creek is currently seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Developer to work on-site in Houston, Texas. What You’ll Do

• Develop responsive, pixel-perfect UIs using React.js and Material UI (MUI), ensuring seamless cross-device compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers to implement modern, accessible, and scalable UI components using FIGMA.
• Optimize performance applications (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting) and adhere to best practices.
• Work with Sci Chart or similar libraries to render high-performance charts with large datasets (e.g., downsampling, and dynamic updates).
• Experience with Map Box for geospatial data visualization is a strong plus.
• Apply techniques like data downsampling, throttling, or debouncing to optimize rendering performance for large datasets.
• Ensure efficient memory management and smooth user interactions in data-heavy applications.
• Write reusable, modular, and testable code with Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
• Conduct peer code reviews and advocate for best practices in front-end architecture.

What You Have

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Material UI (MUI), HTML5, CSS3, and modern tooling (Webpack, Babel).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Version control (Git/Git Hub/Git Lab) and CI/CD workflows.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Sci Chart, Highcharts, D3.js, or Map Box for complex visualizations.
• Knowledge of WebGL for high-performance rendering.
• Hands-on experience with Web Socket, Socket.io, or Server-Sent Events (SSE).
• Familiarity with data aggregation/downsampling techniques for smooth charting.
• Exposure to Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
• Understanding of Docker, AWS, or deployment pipelines.
