Web Creek is currently seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Developer to work on-site in Houston, Texas. What You’ll Do
- Develop responsive, pixel-perfect UIs using React.js and Material UI (MUI), ensuring seamless cross-device compatibility.
- Collaborate with designers to implement modern, accessible, and scalable UI components using FIGMA.
- Optimize performance applications (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting) and adhere to best practices.
- Work with Sci Chart or similar libraries to render high-performance charts with large datasets (e.g., downsampling, and dynamic updates).
- Experience with Map Box for geospatial data visualization is a strong plus.
- Apply techniques like data downsampling, throttling, or debouncing to optimize rendering performance for large datasets.
- Ensure efficient memory management and smooth user interactions in data-heavy applications.
- Write reusable, modular, and testable code with Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
- Conduct peer code reviews and advocate for best practices in front-end architecture.
What You Have
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Material UI (MUI), HTML5, CSS3, and modern tooling (Webpack, Babel).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
- Version control (Git/Git Hub/Git Lab) and CI/CD workflows.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Sci Chart, Highcharts, D3.js, or Map Box for complex visualizations.
- Knowledge of WebGL for high-performance rendering.
- Hands-on experience with Web Socket, Socket.io, or Server-Sent Events (SSE).
- Familiarity with data aggregation/downsampling techniques for smooth charting.
- Exposure to Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
- Understanding of Docker, AWS, or deployment pipelines.
