Brief Description
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our core software platform. This role will be part of a wider development team and will report directly to the Platform Development Lead. The ideal candidate is a quality‑focused engineer with strong experience in test automation, modern QA practices, and collaboration within agile development teams.
Detailed Description- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for our core platform
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, and performance testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and platform engineers to ensure quality is built into every stage of development
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
- Advocate for best practices in software quality assurance across the organization
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and quality gates
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of quality
- 7+ years in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java)
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with API testing (REST, Graph
QL) and performance/load testing tools - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to leverage AI‑driven testing tools and agentic workflows to enhance automation, coverage, and efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years experience in QA engineering with a focus on automation
- Prior experience working in agile development teams and contributing to CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with testing distributed systems or microservices architectures
- Knowledge of performance engineering and security testing
- Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring practices
