Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for high-performance embedded systems. This role focuses on low-level software development, system reliability, and performance optimization, working closely with hardware, product, and engineering teams.

• Design, maintain, and optimize embedded firmware architectures
• Analyze and refactor existing code for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency
• Develop and integrate firmware components, frameworks, and device drivers
• Perform unit testing, debugging, validation, and release readiness checks
• Lead firmware standards, tool selection, and best practices
• Manage version control, firmware releases, and update processes
• Troubleshoot production and customer-reported issues
• Provide technical estimates, documentation, and progress updates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new features and system feasibility

• 7–10 years of embedded firmware development experience
• Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, RTOS, data structures, and microprocessors
• Experience with QNX and Linux environments
• Hands‑on knowledge of NAND, NOR, and DDR4 memory interfaces
• Proficiency with UART, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and multithreaded systems
• Experience using IDEs, debug tools, and version control systems (Git/SVN)
• Strong understanding of firmware lifecycle, software architecture, and design patterns
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
