Job Summary
US Remote | Offices available in Los Angeles & Houston. Mid-Level role (5+ years of experience). Compensation: $100k - $140k base + bonus + benefits.
Role OverviewWe are looking for problem solvers, not just people who can write code. If you have experience with writing and maintaining mission‑critical code and know how to deliver reliable, well‑tested code consistently, we want you! As a back‑end engineer you should have the skills and talent necessary to track down and prevent problems while keeping the wider scope of the system in mind.
You must also have a clear understanding of what good looks like. Much of our code is legacy and we need talented people to help us strategically decide how we can incrementally move forward without disrupting other services.
- 5+ years of professional industry C# .NET experience.
- Experience with SQL databases, including provisioning new instances and designing database schemas from the ground up.
- Experience with unit and integration testing, including setting up new testing frameworks and projects from scratch.
- Deep understanding of caching strategies, with the capability to design and implement scalable caching solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across engineering teams and cross‑functional departments.
- Strong collaborative mindset, with a proactive approach and the ability to take initiative and lead when needed.
- Professional front‑end experience with React.
- Avid practitioner of SOLID principles or has read "Clean Code".
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, including containerizing and deploying .NET applications.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to design and implement end‑to‑end pipelines from scratch.
- Experience with Redis or other third‑party caching providers.
- Experience with queuing technologies such as Rabbit
MQ, Kafka, etc. - Experience with AI tools such as Cursor, Cline, or Copilot.
- Work experience at more than one company, bringing a variety of perspectives.
- Enjoys working on side projects at home related to software or hardware.
- $100k - $140k base salary plus 15% bonus potential.
