Your Job Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC. (KAES) is hiring a skilled Software Engineer for our Koch Energy Services (KES) Natural Gas Trading team. The Software Engineer collaborates with business stakeholders, analysts, and product owners to deliver software solutions that drive business value, improve efficiency, and enable innovation. This role is based in Houston, TX or Wichita, KS. Our Team KES is a top 10 North American Gas Marketer.

• Collaborate with business analysts and business product owners to understand requirements
• Deliver software solutions to meet business needs while following KAES standards and practices
• Participate in agile and iterative development processes
• Participate in technical design to deliver robust solutions
• Implement modern cloud-based data architecture in AWS
• Fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills and excellent critical thinking skills

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 6+ years of experience in Web and Cloud application development
• Advanced proficiency in React
• Experience with AWS Lambda
• Familiarity with DynamoDB
• Familiarity with S3
• Experience with Typescript and NodeJS
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot or Claude

• Energy Industry experience
• Previous experience building integrations into ETRM systems
• SQL database experience
• Experience with CDK or Serverless
• Familiarity with event driven architecture
