Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Progress Open Edge Developer to support and enhance a customized ERP platform in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver scalable business solutions.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain Progress Open Edge applications and integrations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and support APIs using PASOE and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support deployments.
- Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create technical documentation and mentor junior team members.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Progress Open Edge / Progress 4GL development experience.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL, Linux/Unix, and application integration.
- Experience with PASOE, Web Speed, Progress databases, and Open Edge Studio.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, AJAX, and API development/testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, SVN, and CI/CD processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and multi-project management skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kendo UI, Java, .NET, and MS SQL Server.
- Experience working with enterprise ERP systems and third-party integrations.
