Odyssey is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards throughout their development and deployment life cycles. As the Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be working with our elite software development team to ensure applicable standards and regulations are followed.

What we are looking for:The Software Quality Assurance Engineer should have a knowledge of modern software development and test methodologies, a keen eye for detail, experience with software process improvement strategies, and the tenacity to ensure the necessary rigor and quality are met every day.
What you’ll do:- Prepare for and participate in Internal Audits to monitor compliance to development standards
- Participate in customer or government regulatory compliance reviews
- Maintain software quality for multiple projects
- Coordinate software milestones and releases with software managers and team leads
- Develop and maintain quality assurance tools and products
- Develop software quality assurance metrics
- Develop internal design and verification specifications
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance including demonstrated experience with requirements decomposition or verification
- 3+ years of experience with modern software development methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with C++, Python, or other programming languages
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- U.S. Citizen (or Permanent Resident) is required due to the nature of the work
- Experience with NASA standards, such as NASA NPR 7150 and NASA-STD-8739.8
- Experience with human spaceflight programs
- Experience with DoD requirements and standards
- Experience with CI/CD
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools
- A Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university
Positions are available in the Houston, TX and Boulder CO areas
Salary Range: $80k – $120k
