Job Description & How to Apply Below

As an Architect in our Software Engineering Capability, you act as the primary architect and technical lead on client engagements. You scope and estimate work, model solutions against business requirements, and serve as the senior technical voice in client communications.

What You Will Do
  • Architect and deliver production systems across the modern web and cloud stack, including frameworks such as Angular, React, and Next.js on the front end, and Spring Boot, .NET, and Python services on the back end, deployed on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Lead engagements building agentic AI systems, designing for evals, guardrails, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) over enterprise knowledge via MCP, built on cloud‑native agent platforms such as Agent Core, Bedrock, Strands, and Vertex.
  • Solve data problems in service of product outcomes, whether that involves a traditional analytics workload or preparing enterprise data to be retrievable and trustworthy for AI systems.
  • Design and implement cloud‑native APIs and automate infrastructure as code with Terraform, embedding observability and operability from day one.
  • Establish the engineering foundation for new engagements by defining branching and release strategy, CI/CD, environment topology, and delivery patterns for the duration of the project.
  • Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to surface requirements, frame trade‑offs, and keep the technical solution connected to business outcomes.
  • Own the technical narrative with client leadership by leading architecture reviews, demos, and conversations that translate technical decisions for non‑technical executives.
  • Develop the people on your team and across the practice through hands‑on mentorship, R&D, peer training, and building reusable solution accelerators.
Who You Are
  • Experienced, hands‑on software architect with at least 6 years in technology consulting or comparable industry experience.
  • Spend at least 40% of your time on hands‑on technical work, including writing code, reviewing AI‑generated code, building proofs of concept, and unblocking your team.
  • Stay current on the application development landscape across UX, services, and data layers, with working depth in more than one stack.
  • Have led the build of complex, high‑volume, mission‑critical systems and can select the appropriate development methodology for each engagement.
  • Communicate effectively at both engineering and executive levels, navigating organizational dynamics to keep delivery on track.
  • Have working experience across languages such as Java, .NET, Rust, JavaScript/Type Script (React, Angular, Node.js), and Python.
  • Have working experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), along with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless runtimes.
  • Have working experience with modern Dev Ops and automation tooling, including CI/CD platforms (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops), Terraform, automated testing tools like Playwright or Cypress, and database change management with Liquibase.
  • Treat AI as a core part of the toolkit, incorporating coding assistants and agentic tooling into everyday workflow.
  • Ideally understand modern AI engineering patterns—agentic system design, evals, guardrails, RAG, and MCP—and can lead the design and build of agentic systems.
  • How We Use AI To Enhance Our Work
    • AI‑Assisted Engineering:
Use leading AI coding assistants to boost productivity and code quality.
    • Accelerated Design & Strategy:
Use OmniAI, our proprietary multi‑LLM platform, to accelerate solution design, architecture, and estimation.
    • Advanced AI Engagements:
Lead the build of agentic systems with proper evals, guardrails, RAG over enterprise knowledge, and production agent platforms based on services such as Agent Core, Bedrock, Strands, and Vertex.
    • Continuous Learning:
Support engineers through internal communities, peer learning, and dedicated time to explore emerging tools and patterns.
    Compensation

Compensation is competitive and includes a variable component when applicable. Salary is based on experience, skills, and responsibilities.

    Benefits
    • Health, vision, dental, mental health, and life insurance.
    • Prescription drug coverage, fertility and adoption…
