This is a non-union position

We are looking for an Advisor TIS GTM Solutions Architecture who will play a key role in supporting and enhancing applications that serve Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM) Commercial Marketing, Business Development, and Customer Service Operations. This is an intermediate role that contributes to the ideation, implementation, and support of critical systems, including the LINK® application, by applying technical expertise and business acumen to deliver reliable and scalable IT solutions.

Note:

Internally this role is referred to as Advisor TIS Solution Architecture.

What You Will Do
  • Develop architectural diagrams, documentation, and standards for system design and development.
  • Identify and build reusable framework components to streamline business application development.
  • Proactively identify and drive process improvement opportunities, implementing solutions using current and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure technical strategies adhere to security, business continuity, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with other architects, developers, and quality assurance analysts to ensure cohesive delivery.
Who You Are
  • Related university degree in computer science or related field OR a two‑year technical diploma, with four or more years of directly related experience in technical roles within medium to large organizations.
  • Experience in development of reusable components for use in web applications and implementing N‑Tier architecture‑based end‑to‑end solutions.
  • Experience developing complex applications with Java, web services, CSS, XML/XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Junit, UI frameworks, and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in object‑oriented programming, software design patterns, Spring framework, data structures and algorithms, multithreading and synchronization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, source code management repositories, and unit testing.
  • Demonstrates strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work well both independently, and with others and build strong team dynamics; open-mindedness; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong customer service focus, with the ability to understand and meet business partners’ needs.
Preferred
  • Broad knowledge of programming languages and technologies including ORM, C#, Python, Bing/Google/Map Box Maps API, IIS, ASP.NET.
  • Experience with Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution using tools such as GIT, Azure Dev Ops, and Ansible.
  • Microservices and API design:
    Expertise in building modular and flexible systems using microservices architecture and designing robust, secure APIs.
  • Experience with IT operations, automation, Cloud computing, and monitoring and logging.
  • Cybersecurity and compliance: A security‑first mindset to design architectures with robust security measures, threat modeling, secure coding practices, technical risk management and knowledge of compliance standards like GDPR.
  • Proficiency using Agile methodology.
