In this position you will work with a talented team to develop software for next generation space systems, using software engineering best practices, from requirements to design through development, testing, V&V, and certification.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Similar
• Experience with software requirements, design and development
• Experience developing C/C++ software for safety-critical systems
• Experience developing unit tests within unit test frameworks (e.g. cppTest, Jenkins)
• Knowledgeable in software development lifecycle phases with Scrum Agile process
• Understanding of Dev Ops concepts, CI/CD practices, Git Lab
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident required

Desired

Qualifications:

• Experience developing human-rated space system software
• Knowledge of safety-critical standards (NASA NPR 7150.2, DO-178C)
• Experience with Linux or real-time operating systems (RTOS), such as Vx Works
• Working knowledge of Python, Java
• 3 to 5 years experience
• Experience with NASA’s core Flight Software (cFS) framework is a Plus
