Senior Data Engineering Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering Analyst with a strong background in Python software development and data engineering to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data solutions. This role requires a hands‑on engineer with proven experience delivering production‑grade applications and data pipelines
. The ideal candidate has successfully designed, deployed, and supported scalable software solutions in live production environments and understands the operational demands of enterprise systems beyond development and proof‑of‑concept work.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and data engineering solutions.
• Build, deploy, and support production‑ready data pipelines, APIs, and software applications.
• Partner with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high‑quality software products.
• Design and implement frameworks and tools that streamline machine learning workflows.
• Develop data transformation logic to support analytics and business use cases.
• Build fault‑tolerant, scalable microservices using modern software architecture and design patterns.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support enterprise applications and data services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Document code, technical designs, and architectural decisions to ensure maintainability.
• Follow software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and version control.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards, documentation, and software quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience developing production‑grade Python applications and data engineering solutions.
• Demonstrated success deploying, supporting, and maintaining enterprise applications and data pipelines in live production environments.
• Strong experience building and maintaining enterprise data pipelines.
• Proficiency with Python data engineering libraries including Pandas, Num Py, PyArrow, PyTest, Scikit‑Learn, and Boto3
  .
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming, functional programming, and software design principles.
• Experience with distributed computing and large‑scale data processing.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops principles, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and source control.
• Experience designing modular, reusable, and maintainable software components.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Experience supporting machine learning or advanced analytics initiatives.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and distributed computing frameworks.
• Experience in enterprise environments where application reliability, scalability, and operational support are critical.
