Role: Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.
Responsibilities- Support software engineering lifecycle following SDP: requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support formal test/delivery.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++.
- Ability to work with multi‑disciplined teams.
- Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture, integration & test.
- Active/Final Secret clearance; US citizen.
- Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience – (Green Hill or VxWorks).
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.
Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule:
9x80 every other Friday off.
Annual base salary range:
California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For other states, the salary will reflect the final work location.
