Senior Application Developer

Hybrid 3x a week on site | 2 year contract | 60-65/HR

• 5 plus years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• Proven ability to write optimize and maintain complex queries stored procedures and database logic
• Experience developing applications using Python and or microservices architecture
• Ability to analyze and modernize existing codebases with minimal supervision
• Strong problem solving skills with a track record of delivering solutions independently
• Experience working across multiple application stacks and environments
• Ability to rapidly prototype and deliver in a fast paced changing environment
• Familiarity with AI development tools such as Copilot Claude or Cursor and using them effectively Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams

This role requires a hands on developer who can work across application frameworks, backend services, and relational databases, while quickly understanding and enhancing existing systems and business logic. The ideal candidate has experience building scalable services, working with microservices and Python, and optimizing database interactions to support high performing applications.
