Job Description
The FHN Financial Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using modern technologies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex business problems, mentoring other developers, leading technology initiatives, and working directly with end users to deliver high-quality software solutions
Key Job Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, deploy. and maintain enterprise web applications
- Participate in application architecture technical design, and code reviews
- Develop modern user interfaces using Angular and Blazor
- Build RESTful APIs and backend service using Microsoft .NET
- Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies
- Develop distributed applications using message queue technologies such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus
- Collaborate directly with business users to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Lead technical projects and provide guidance to other developers
- Participate in Agile planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented and thoroughly test code
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft .NET (.NET Framework and/or .NET), C#, Angular, Blazor, Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience building REST APIs and service-oriented applications.
- Experience with one or more message queue technologies such as:
RabbitMQ, MSMQ or IBM MQ - Experience using Git and Git Hub for source control.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops including repositories, pipelines, work items, and release management.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience developing secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise applications.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or serving as technical lead on projects.
- Experience with Agile software development practices and tools such as Jira.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
