Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our client, a Texas-based network of hospitals and residential treatment centers for patients with complex health needs. The Sr. Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain mission-critical applications and integrations that support clinical and administrative operations across facilities. This role blends hands‑on full‑stack development with architectural ownership, and you'll work across the stack from software design to cloud deployment and mobile delivery, with growing opportunities to shape how we apply AI to real clinical and operational workflows.
WhatYou'll Do:
- Design and build cross‑platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI, extending clinical and operational tools to phones and tablets used across facilities
- Assist with SQL‑based data solutions that move and transform data across clinical, operational, and reporting systems
- Contribute to software architecture and API/service design discussions, evaluating trade‑offs and ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable across web, desktop, and mobile
- Build clean, maintainable, secure, and well‑tested code following engineering best practices
- Develop and support applications hosted within Microsoft Azure, including Web Apps/App Services, Functions, background services, and related cloud‑native services
- Work with SQL Server/relational databases, including query optimization and performance tuning; experience with Databricks or similar platforms is a plus
- Support CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices using Azure Dev Ops, including build/release pipelines for MAUI mobile app distribution
Annual Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
