Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Commodity Software Engineer to join a highly collaborative, cross-functional product engineering team. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting high-quality software solutions throughout the complete product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, writing clean and maintainable code, collaborating with team members through pair programming, and contributing to reliable, scalable, and high-performing applications.

Engineers at all experience levels will have opportunities to contribute to architecture, development, automation, performance optimization, production support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through production support.

Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, QA, Dev Ops, and other stakeholders through Agile ceremonies and pair programming.

Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

Develop reusable software components, technical documentation, and system/design diagrams.

Perform application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression tests.

Monitor production applications and participate in incident response and production issue resolution.

Analyze technical issues and implement effective, sustainable solutions.

Collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and open-source communities when required.

Conduct and participate in code reviews while following engineering best practices.

Support and mentor junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge and development best practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, standards, and methodologies.
