• The Domestic Shipping Clerk is a pivotal member of our team, responsible for ensuring the efficient handling and dispatch of goods from our warehouse facility.
• This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating outbound shipments, and leveraging forklift expertise to facilitate smooth logistics operations if necessary.
• Create shipping paperwork and ensure it is accurate, this includes packing slips in SAP.
• Ensure customer requirements have been met on their orders and it is accurate.
• Call or email carriers to schedule pickups, when required.
• Communicate with customer service representatives when there are issues with customers’ orders.
• Verify orders shipped have been completed and goods issued in SAP.
• Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize jobs throughout the day.
• Work hand-in-hand with shipping associates, to ensure customer orders ship on time.
