Overview
The Dispatcher supports WTX operations by coordinating the scheduling and dispatch of crews, equipment, and materials to ensure safe and efficient job execution. In addition to dispatching duties, this role provides operational support such as monitoring job progress and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in dispatching, field coordination, or related operations support.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn dispatch/operations systems.
Dispatching & Scheduling
- Assign and dispatch field crews, equipment, and resources to job sites based on operational needs.
- Maintain up-to-date schedules and logs to ensure accurate resource allocation.
- Serve as the central contact point for field personnel regarding assignments, logistics, and changes.
- Track job status and update operations leadership on progress or issues.
Operational Support
- Assist in coordinating daily operations to ensure jobs are executed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Provide field support as needed, including job setup, logistics coordination, and equipment allocation.
- Participate in safety meetings, incident reporting, and compliance checks.
- Communicate with customers and vendors.
