Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver – Flex

Location: Houston, TX – Westchase area.

Compensation: $16.00/hr – Full Time.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, with some weekend availability. Shift times vary; open availability required between 10am and 10pm.

• Operate company-owned vehicle safely while transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
• Use handheld scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
• Adapt to route changes based on client and business needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screening.
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination (depending on location and local mandates).
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to lift items off storage racks.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to handle varying item weights and physical demands, even when drop‑off and pick‑up responsibilities vary.
