Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Specialist within Sterling, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of materials and finished goods across the supply chain. Your primary focus will be on managing logistics operations, including material control, shipping and receiving, and reverse logistics processes to optimize inventory flow and reduce costs. You will coordinate international shipping activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth customs clearance to support global supply chain demands.

Collaborating closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams, you will identify opportunities to improve logistics strategies and enhance overall supply chain performance. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven knowledge of logistics management, material control, and shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs compliance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Manage day-to-day logistics operations including inbound and outbound shipments, material handling, and inventory control.
• Coordinate international shipping activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely delivery.
• Oversee reverse logistics processes to handle returns, repairs, and recycling of materials efficiently.
• Collaborate with supply chain, production, and procurement teams to forecast material requirements and optimize inventory levels.

• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
