We are seeking a results-driven Logistics Manager to lead our supply chain operations for our oilfield and industrial chemical divisions. This role is critical to maintaining our "just-in-time" delivery promise to hydraulic fracturing sites and industrial plants, managing the movement of products from our manufacturing plants to regional in-basin distribution centers.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between corporate finance goals and field-level execution, ensuring that our ISO tank fleet and specialized freight move safely and cost-effectively.

Oversee the operational efficiency of in-basin distribution centers (DCs) located in major shale plays (e.g., Permian, Haynesville, Bakken). - Last-Mile Logistics:
Coordinate the "last-mile" delivery of chemicals to well sites, ensuring equipment readiness and driver compliance with oilfield safety protocols. - Distribution Center Throughput:
Collaborate with planning manager to maintain proper inventory levels at DCs to prevent stockouts while minimizing carrying costs.
- Technical Oversight:
Manage a dedicated fleet of ISO tanks, ensuring proper maintenance is performed and assets are allocated where needed - Repositioning:
Strategically manage "empty" returns and tank cleaning cycles to maximize equipment utilization across the basin network.
- Carrier Sourcing:
Contract and optimize specialized bulk liquid haulers, FTL, & LTL carriers capable of handling oilfield and customer facility deliveries. - Cost Control:
Analyze logistics spend vs. budget, using the gaps to implement optimization projects - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with manufacturing and finance teams to align logistics capacity with production schedules and budget targets.
- Experience:
8+ years in logistics, with at least 5 years specifically in oilfield chemicals, specialty chemicals, or a high-intensity industrial manufacturing environment. - Knowledge:
Deep familiarity with bulk liquid transport, ISO tank mechanical standards, and DOT regulations. - In-Basin Expertise:
Proven track record of managing remote distribution centers and understanding the unique logistics challenges of oil & gas basins. - Systems:
Proficiency SAP and Microsoft programs including Power Bi.
- On-Time Delivery (OTD):
Ensuring chemical deliveries reach the well site or industrial plant within the narrow operational window. - Cost Per kg:
Maintaining freight efficiency through improved lane routing and carrier negotiation. - Equipment Utilization:
Minimizing ISO tank dwell time at terminals and manufacturing sites.
