Specialized Recruiting Group is looking for a Freight Broker Dispatcher - Direct Hire

Location:

Houston, TX (Local candidates only)

Pay: $60,000-$70,000 DOE + commission

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule:

Monday-Friday; nights, weekends, and on-call as needed

We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker Dispatcher for a direct-hire, long-term opportunity in Houston, TX. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth freight operations while building strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and customers. • Dispatch carriers and drivers for assigned loads, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery
• Track shipments in transit and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, carriers, brokers, and customers
• Negotiate rates with carriers as needed, within approved margins
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and operational policies
• Manage all load documentation, including rate confirmations, BOLs, and PODs
• Update Transportation Management Systems (TMS) with real-time information
• Resolve service issues, claims, or discrepancies efficiently
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with carriers and brokers
• Support freight brokers with capacity sourcing and operational coordination
• Maintain scheduled hours and provide on-call coverage when needed

This is a long-term, direct-hire opportunity in Houston, TX. Local candidates only will be considered.
